May 23, 2023 – ELKHART, INDIANA – Arris Consulting is thrilled to share its new brand, new voice, and new take on ERP consulting. Previously known as Marshall + Poe, a successful accounting & IT firm that first opened in 1985, the team gradually moved away from accounting and expanded its top-notch technology services. “While our portfolio evolved, our focus on serving clients in the manufacturing and distribution industries has not wavered – leading to a highly experienced team,” stated Jeff Kaczanowski, one of three Partners at Arris Consulting. With both former namesakes no longer present, a new key product offering with Acumatica ERP, and the company needing a refreshed website, it was ideal timing for a new brand that represents the three strong partners now leading the way.
An “arris” is an architectural term for “a sharp edge formed by the meeting of two surfaces”, often seen in arched ceilings. The team sees themselves as the arris between clients and technology – joining the two to be both stronger and more secure than before. The new brand exemplifies the team’s core purpose of ‘Simplify. Adapt. Grow.’. Steve Muldoon, Partner, explained “We pride ourselves on making the complex simple.”
The ERP Consulting industry can be a challenging place to market a brand, with hundreds of other Value Added Resellers (VARs) offering the same products, claiming expertise, and partnership. When asked what sets the team apart, Chad Smith, Partner, clarified “The problem solver mindset runs through all of us – it has to be if you’re going to last in our field.”
While the team has long worked with Epicor, BatchMaster, and Sage 300, it expanded into cloud ERP with Acumatica a few years ago. The firm has specialized in the manufacturing and distribution industries for over three decades, working with a range of clients from growing companies just expanding off of QuickBooks to enterprise firms with 9-figure revenues.
When asked about the new brand launch, Kaczanowski summarized “We want to grow the company but most importantly, we want to build a business we are proud of. Every new venture, project, and activity should be done with the same level of quality and expertise we do everything else.” The new brand includes a website & content created by WordFuse, Hoooman Studio, and Magnusson Enterprises, a logo designed by Eyedart Creative Studio, and the team worked with Krista Magnusson from Magnusson Enterprises to bring it all together.
